The Pearl has "personality".
Designed as an omage to my great
grandmother Pearl, this apron is an adaptation of the Dresden Plate
quilt pattern. The variety in the fabrics is a reference to Granny's
habit of choosing fabric according to what spoke to her and was on sale.
Her quilts are an exciting mix of colors and prints with no noticeable
rhyme or reason. I used to love the variety when I was a child, and
I've brought a toned down version to this apron. This apron is a custom
order and will require extra time. You may choose the color of your
apron, but I will choose the fabrics. For myself I've chosen chartreuse
with a vibrant lemon accent--very fifties, very Granny. If your heart
longs for something just a little bit different, this is the apron for you. |  |
